ANDREA MOORE
MARKETING CONSULTANT
Marketing helps shape the business, not just communicate what it does.
WHAT I DO
I help brands entering their next phase work out what needs to change, what marketing can do about it, and where to focus to make a difference.I bring senior marketing leadership and broad international experience to sharpen brand positioning, set strategy and focus activity and investment behind it. All while strengthening teams and connecting marketing more closely to commercial performance.WHEN TO BRING ME IN
A brand needs revitalising. Growth has stalled. New leadership is setting a different direction. The business is moving into new markets or channels. Or things are going well, but you need to understand what’s driving success and how to sustain it.WHERE I'VE DONE IT
I’ve led marketing for Levi’s, Dr. Martens, Molton Brown, Mothercare and Chilly’s, from reversing seven years of decline at Levi’s UK to contributing to 48% revenue growth at Dr. Martens ahead of its IPO, and repositioning Chilly’s for its next phase. My experience covers the UK, Europe and global markets, working across brand, digital, ecommerce, retail, wholesale, communications and partnerships.

MY BELIEFS
1. The consumer always comes first.
Understand who you’re trying to reach, what matters to them and what makes them care before deciding what to say or do.2. Marketing helps shape the business.
Marketing influences the product, proposition, experience and commercial decisions, not just how they’re communicated.3. Strategy before tactics.
Work out what needs to change, define the brand strategy and positioning, then decide where to focus activity and investment.4. One size doesn’t fit all.
Be consistent about what the brand stands for, but understand the consumer, culture and context of each market and act accordingly.5. Great people build great brands.
Give talented people clear direction, support and the tools to succeed. Then trust them to do brilliant work.6. Measure what matters.
Be clear about what marketing is there to achieve and measure accordingly. Balance short-term commercial performance with the time it takes to build long-term brand value.
